This 2003 SVT Cobra Mustang is a rare unmolested example with 16,760 miles. Many of the 03-04 cobras quickly received performance upgrades when these cars first released, but this one managed to remain stock from bumper to bumper.
Powered by a supercharged 4.6L DOHC engine rated at 390 HP 390 ft lb mated to a Tremec T56 6 speed transmission put this car is on another level compared to other mustangs. Thanks to an independent rear suspension (previously only available on the ultra rare 2000 Cobra R, and not seen again until the 2015 Mustang) this Pony can handle as well as run fast in a straight line. Finished in black with a dark charcoal leather and gray micro suede interior you'd be hard-pressed to find a sharper-looking color combo.
The car sits on its Factory 17 x 9 aluminum 5 spoke wheels wrapped in a set of 275/40 - ZR17 Goodyear Eagle F1's date coded to 2007. Besides the powertrain, suspension, wheel, and break upgrades applied to the car by SVT there are quite a few styling cues to set it apart from a normal mustang. These include the more aggressively styled front bumper that includes fog lights, a heat extractor style hood that can be easily made functional and a trunk mounted spoiler and the Cobra and embossed rear bumper.
An upgraded SVT gauge cluster with a boost gauge and 160 mph Speedo were also added (oddly enough Ford set the electronic limiter to 159 mph). Options on this Cobra include the power driver's seat and mirrors Mach 460 sound system with 6 CD changer, track lock equipped 3.55 rear differential and Factory security system.
