1995 SVT Mustang Cobra R
A modern version of a “Factory Lightweight.” This “R” is number 186 out of only 250 produced by Ford. Only 378 original miles. Finished in Crystal White, the color which was unique to these cars. Further distancing themselves from the normal Cobra, the Rs came factory equipped with the powerful 5.8 liter V8 backed by a Tremec 5-speed transmission and a weight-reducing package including AC, radio, and back seat deleted. Manual windows, special brakes, and stiffer suspension with Koni shocks were standard on this purpose-built vehicle. Additional track-oriented equipment includes a 20-gallon fuel cell, high-flow fuel pump, upgraded engine cooling, dedicated oil and power steering coolers, and a specially designed cowl intake fiberglass hood.
